LOST IN NOTHINGNESS
-demo-

Elusive Sight was founded in April 2012 by guitarist Jarosław Mendrek and drummer Maks Ciastoń in Leszno Górne, Poland. Shortly after, bassist Paweł Mendrek (Jarosław’s father) joined the lineup. Before releasing their debut demo, the band put out two singles, "Sleepwalker" and "Devotion," which later became part of Lost In Nothingness.

The demo featured contributions from Paulina Zdanowicz (vocals), Jarosław Mendrek (guitar/vocals), and Maks Ciastoń (drums), with Gordon (Sleepwalker) making a guest appearance on vocals. The music was composed by Jarosław and Maks, with lyrics mainly written by Jarosław, except for "Sleepwalker" (by Gordon) and "Pustka" (originally by Jarosław, later translated into Polish by Szymon "Pająk"). Lost In Nothingness was recorded and mixed in the band’s small garage studio in Leszno Górne, Poland—literally in a car garage next to their house.

BEYOND LIGHT
-album-

Following the demo release, Elusive Sight reformed with Gordon (vocals), Jarosław Mendrek (guitar/vocals), Paweł Mendrek (bass), and Krzysztof Talar (drums). The band performed a few shows in early 2015 in Poland while writing material for Beyond Light, which was released in March 2016. The album’s songs were first introduced live before being recorded. "Sun’s Demise" was the first track written for Beyond Light, while "44" was the last.

MOVING FORWARD

Elusive Sight remains active, with new music in the works. The sound has evolved, taking on more progressive elements while still maintaining a connection to the band's roots. New material is coming soon—stay tuned.
